About Dominion Cues
My name is Jalen May, and Dominion Cues was born from a lifelong passion for building, creating, and improving everything I touch. Before I ever turned my first cue on a lathe, I grew up drawing, designing, and experimenting with ideas on paper. Art was my first language — and over time, that artistic foundation evolved into engineering, craftsmanship, and ultimately, cue making.
I’m currently studying Mechanical Engineering Technology, which has shaped the way I approach every cue I build. Engineering taught me precision, problem-solving, and how to take an idea from concept to reality. My artistic background taught me creativity, flow, and attention to detail. Dominion Cues is where those worlds come together.
From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to building things and making them better. That hasn’t changed. Today, I still spend countless hours researching new techniques, studying materials, improving my tools, refining tapers, testing finishes, and pushing myself to create cues that perform as beautifully as they look. I’m never satisfied with “good enough” — I want to innovate, not imitate.
Cue building is more than a craft to me. It’s personal.
I’ve built Dominion Cues with a team of like-minded creators who love pool, love craftsmanship, and love developing new products that players can trust. Together, we work with intention — shaping raw wood, epoxy, carbon fiber, and custom components into cues that feel like an extension of the player.
And one thing will always stay true:
I will never sell something I wouldn’t proudly use myself.
Every cue reflects my values — precision, creativity, improvement, and pride in excellent work.
When you order from Dominion Cues, you’re not just buying equipment.
You’re getting a cue built by someone who cares deeply about the game, the craft, and the experience you’ll have every time you step to the table.
Dominion Cues is more than a brand.
It’s my passion, my craft, and my promise to players: custom cues built with heart, skill, and relentless dedication.
